This is a portrait of my dad, my uncle and my brother, finished in acylic paint on wooden board. I began this in 2012 as an exploration of a kind of colourful impressionism mixed with a contemporary attitude towards portraiture. It is made up of many thin washes of acrylic colour, with special interest paid towards making just the right lines and shapes.
